Spring Festival Overture

The Spring Festival Overture ( Chunjie xuqu ) is one of the Chinese composer Li Huanzhi ( 1919-2000 ) composed in the years 1955 and 1956 orchestral work. In the factory, the scenery of the region of Shanbei (ie, northern Shaanxi ) during the Chinese New Year ( Spring Festival ) is described. It is very popular in China and is often listed. It was also often included in school music books.

In 2007 it was one of the songs with which the Chinese lunar probe Chang'e -1 was equipped.
