Springboard Expansion Slot

The Springboard expansion slot is an interface for connecting peripheral devices to PDAs of the brand Visor from Handspring.

Developed by Handspring Springboard slot led the address and data bus of the former Dragon Ball processors out on the periphery. The slot was introduced with the Visor 1999; this was the first expandable Palm OS PDA. For this innovation, Handspring was awarded the "Annual Award 1999 " in the category Handhelds PC Magazine.
