Spurius Maelius

Spurius Maelius († 439 BC) was a legendary figure of the early Roman Republic.

According to the unreliable and several centuries embodied by the events the Roman tradition Maelius was a wealthy plebeians of the highest census class ( eques ), granaries had let create and BC sold at a famine 440/439 grain at low prices to the people.
