Squalicorax ( " Hairabe " ) is an extinct genus of Makrelenhaiartigen that lived during the Cretaceous period.

Like most extinct sharks is Squalicorax known mainly in the form of fossil teeth. In the U.S. state of Kansas but managed a finding of a 1.9 meter long and preserved in the anatomical composite skeleton of the species S. falcatus. The total length of S. pristodontus was estimated on the basis of tooth size to up to five meters.

The teeth of Squalicorax had a rectangular base, the crown had the shape of a rose arbor and was finely serrated. They resembled those of extant tiger shark. Probably Squalicorax was a predator, but let fossil got teeth in the metatarsal bones of a young Hadrosauriers as well as in the vortex of a mosasaur suspect Squalicorax opportunistic malnourished and eating carrion.
