Squinzano
Squinzano is a southern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 14,518 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2012) in the province of Lecce in Puglia. Squinzano is located about 17 kilometers north- west of Lecce and about 30 kilometers south or south-west of Brindisi. The community borders the province of Brindisi. Since 1999, the City shall have the title of Città (City).
Economy
Squinzano located in the Puglia wine region. The Squinzano is a protected designation of origin ( Squinzano DOC), which is produced as a red or rose wine mainly by the Negro Amaro grape.
Traffic
Passing through the municipality, the Strada Statale 16 Adriatica and east of it, the Strada Statale 613 Both combine Brindisi to Lecce.
