Srećko Puntarić

Srecko Puntarić ( born 1952 in Zagreb, Croatia, formerly Yugoslavia) is a Croatian cartoonist and author.

Life

Srecko Puntarić was born in 1952 in Zagreb. He studied mechanical engineering and ship building at the University of Zagreb. His first cartoon published in the satirical newspaper Puntarić Kerempuh in 1975. Since that time published his drawings in almost all daily and weekly newspapers. His first long-term cooperation, he realized with the sports magazines SN Revija and Sprint. Since 1986 Puntarić worked with the Croatian weekly Vjesnik. His cartoon FELIX appears regularly in the Croatian weekly newspaper Vecernji list and in the Roman Catholic weekly newspaper of the Archdiocese of glass Koncila Zagreb since 1995.

International Puntarić previously worked with the German satirical magazine Eulenspiegel (magazine), as also related to the Swiss satirical magazine Nebelspalter. Srecko Puntarić is a member of the Community Croatian cartoonists ULUPUH and the Community of European cartoonists FECO. From 1990 to 1992 Puntarić worked with the film studio Zagreb film together and realized the cartoon TV FELIX. In addition, Srecko Puntarić previously published 27 books of his work. He is founder of the first gallery of humor and caricature under the name Felix Fun Factory in Croatia. The gallery was opened in 1994 in Zagreb.

Exhibitions

His works presented Srecko Puntarić at home and abroad the public. Abroad exhibitions took place in Vienna, Bern and Budapest. In Croatia so far took place over twenty exhibitions, including in the cities of Bjelovar, Čakovec, Koprivnica, Krapina, Slavonski Brod, Varaždin and Zagreb.
