Sreto Ristić

Sreto Ristic ( born February 7, 1976 in Zagreb, Yugoslavia ) is a former Serbian football player.

Career as a player

Ristic grew until 1991 with his family in Zagreb. In Germany, he joined the juniors of SSV Reutlingen 05 and started an apprenticeship as a fitter for utility. At the beginning of 1997 took the VfB Stuttgart young Ristic. After three and a half years only supplement players remained, he moved to Portugal for SC Campomaiorense.

In winter 2000/ 01 Ristic returned to Germany and joined the SSV Ulm 1846 and after only a few months to 1 FC Union Berlin. He played three years in the 2nd Bundesliga before joining for a season to Guangzhou in China.

Back in Germany he went back to VfB Stuttgart, for which he was, however, used only in the second team.

For the season 2006/ 07 the Swiss Grasshopper Club Zurich undertook the striker. In the 2007 /08 season Ristic moved back to Germany for Eintracht Braunschweig in the Regionalliga Nord. After only one year, he signed with the Palatine third division side SV Sandhausen a two year contract, which was further extended by one year. In June 2011, he finished his club career.

Career as a coach

Since October 8, 2013 Ristic is an assistant coach at third division SV Stuttgarter Kickers.
