Sriharikota

Sriharikota ( Telugu: శ్రీహరికోట Sriharikota ) is a barrier island in India.

It is located in the district of Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore of Andhra Pradesh and separates the Pulicat Lake from the Bay of Bengal. It is accessible via a causeway from the mainland.

The Satish Dhawan Space Centre is located at Sriharikota.
