Srizbi botnet

Srizbi is currently one of the largest botnets and one of the most responsible for the global flood of spam, which is caused by means of spam relays (according to Marshal Limited 39% of all spam is sent via Srizbi ). Srizbi has the well-known botnet Storm Worm ( the estimated 85,000 includes drones ) with 315,000 captured computers already left behind. The reason for this is probably Removal Tool from Microsoft, the software, which now recognizes the malicious code of the Storm Worm network.

Dissemination

This botnet extended over a same Trojan ( Trojan.Srizbi ), which is usually stored on infected sites, which are sent by spam mail including the link below.

Combat

The activity of Srizbi was significantly restricted after two Srizbi used by the command-and -control servers providers, including the infamous hosting firm McColo, were removed from the network.
