SS Barletta Calcio

SS Barletta Calcio ( officially: Società Sportiva Calcio Barletta ) is an Italian football club from the city of Barletta, which was founded in 1922. The team plays at the Stadio Cosimo Puttilli with a capacity of 3,998 seats. The reestablishment took place in 1995 after financial problems. Currently the club plays in Lega Pro Prima Divisione B. acts as a coach Nevio Orlandi, the post of club president exerts Roberto Tato from. Last season the team finished fifth in the Seconda Divisione Lega Pro C.

Club History

In the season 2007/ 08 Series D Barletta finally finished second in the group Girone H and thus qualified for the upcoming playoffs. In the playoffs, they could not exist, however, and they did not reach the semi-finals. But thanks to their placement as the second best team in the three groups, they won the special qualifications and increased in Lega Pro Seconda Divisione the as one of the top five teams to the playoffs.
