SSAFA
The Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association Forces Help (often just called SSAFA; pronounced SA -FA ) is a British charity, the former and current members of the British armed forces or their families support. To qualify for support, the / the person must have completed at least one day paid work in the British armed forces.
History
The " Soldiers 'and Sailors' Families Association " was founded in 1885 by James Gildea. In 1919, she was, after the founding of the Royal Air Force in 1918, under the name " Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association ( SSAFA ) ," an official charity. The merger with the " Forces Help Society " 1997 was the present SSAFA Forces Help.

The organization has made it their mission to support the following groups:
The donations the SSAFA Forces Help tries to make the following:
- Insure that their services continue to be operated and developed overseas and in the UK,
- Organize volunteers who spend time with the families and the servant,
- The Stepping Stones Homes, a housing for women and servants, and their dependents, support,
- To support campaigns that aim to achieve national attention for Hilfsbdürftige,
- Ensure training for volunteers in the UK.
