SsangYong Istana (1995-2003)

The SsangYong Istana (Korean: 쌍용 이스타나 ) is the first minibus from SsangYong. It was produced from 1995 to 2003 SsangYong in Seoul, South Korea. That comes with two seats as vans and with nine to 15 seats as a minibus vehicle based on the Mercedes- Benz MB 100 The remarks were similar to those of the Mercedes -Benz MB 100 was powered by a 70 kW leis border 2.9 - liter diesel engine. The Istana was prepared as a left as well as right-hand drive.

Intended mainly for the domestic Korean market, the car in the Asian region was also sold as Daewoo Istana as well as licensed under the brand name Mercedes -Benz MB100/MB140 with gasoline engines and as MB100D/MB140D with diesel engines. In Russia, the Istana was often referred to as Marschrutka in Eastern Siberia and the Far East, or used in long-distance transport.
