St Erth ( Cornish: Lannudhno or Praze Pras ) is a city and a municipality in the former Penwith District of Cornwall in England. The municipality is bordered to the west by Ludgvan, on the north by Hayle, on the south by St Hilary and on the east by the former Kerrier District.

The name of the place comes from the Irish saint St. Erc, of the population of Cornwall evangelized during the Middle Ages.

The present church was built in 1215. Another church to have stood on the St Erth Hill and have surveyed from there the whole village. The place has 1 km from the center of a railway station, which is on the small railway line St Ives Bay Line. It connects St Erth St Ives and Penzance with.
