St George Hospital

George Hospital ( St. George's Hospital, etc.) was the name for Leprosenhäuser ( domus leprosorum ) that were donated under the patronage of St. George. They were originally the isolated storage of the " lepers " and were later used as a plague, infirmaries and workhouses.
