St.-Benno-Viertel

The St. Benno - quarter is located in Munich's neighborhoods and Maxvorstadt Neuhausen- Nymphenburg.

The district lies to the west of the Stiglmaierplatzes and is bordered by the Nymphenburgerstraße, the Dachauerstraße and Lazarettstraße. At the west end of St. Benno district located between the road and the hospital Lothstraße the German Heart Center Munich and the University of Applied Sciences Munich. Through the district proceeds with the Lothstraße the border between the East and Maxvorstadt Neuhausen -Nymphenburg to the west.

The name derives from the parish church of St. Benno, which is located in this neighborhood. In 2008, the park received the license area for this area formally the same name after " St. Benno - quarter " was previously used only colloquially.
