St. Clair County (Alabama)

The St. Clair County is a county located in the state of Alabama in the United States. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Ashville.

Geography

The County is located in the central northeastern Alabama, is in the east and around 90 km from Georgia and has an area of 1693 square kilometers, of which 51 square kilometers are water surface. It is bordered clockwise to the following counties: Etowah County, Calhoun County, Talladega County, Shelby County, Jefferson County and Blount County.
