St. Clair Township is one of 18 townships of Columbiana County in the U.S. state of Ohio. According to the census in 2000 7961 inhabitants were registered here.

Geography

St. Clair Township is located in the southeast of Columbiana County in northeastern Ohio, on the east by Pennsylvania and clockwise in the townships: Middleton Township, Liverpool Township, Madison Township and Elkrun Township.

Management

The township is administered by a Board of Trustees consisting of three elected members. Two persons are elected in the year after the presidential election and one each in the previous year. The term of office lasts four years, beginning on 1 January. There is also a Township Clerk ( responsible for finance and budget), which is also elected in the year before the presidential election to a four -year term. Whose term of office begins on April 1.
