St. George's School, Cologne

St. George 's - The English International School is a fully accredited international school with locations in Cologne, Munich, Duisburg, Dusseldorf and Aachen for pupils aged 2 to 18 years and in Munich for students from 3 to 9/10 years. It is also the first British boarding school on German soil.

Overview

The school in Cologne in 1985, the 2002 and the Aachen facility founded in 2007 in Duisburg -. Munich school opened in September 2013 students from over 35 nations are based on the " English National Curriculum " from Pre- Nursery ( Vorkindergartenalter ) to Advanced Level or taught according to the IB ( International Baccalaureate ) program. These degrees are recognized worldwide by universities. The language of instruction is English, and the students are required to wear a school uniform. St. George's is a co- educational and non-denominational school bound, which is conducted independently of municipal or government grants. The examination offerings may vary at individual locations.

Model

Since its founding in 1985, St. George's has developed from an English pre-and primary school to an English- international day school with four locations. The Community of school management, teachers, parents and students give the same value on education and personality development.

Concept

The classes have a maximum of 20 students, and there are many extracurricular activities offered. Boarding school in Cologne

In the fall of 2008 St. George's has opened the first British international boarding school in Germany for Foreign Students ( aged 11 ). Students live in Cologne under the supervision of house parents in a double room with bathroom. Full day and boarding students also undertake a number of extracurricular activities - during the week and on weekends. The school administration and her team have gained experience at British boarding schools.
