St. Michael's Church, Cluj-Napoca

The Cluj Michael Church (Hungarian Szent Mihály - templom ) in Cluj- Napoca ( Cluj German ) is the most significant example of a Gothic hall church in Transylvania. Stylistic considerations of construction of the church is to be set in the mid- 14th century. The building is reminiscent of the Church of Saint Elizabeth in Košice.

In a first phase, the choir was built. The building was originally to be provided with two towers, one remained unfinished.
