St. Nicholas Church, Wszembórz
The Church of St. Nicholas in Wszembórz is a Roman Catholic church in the village of brick Wszembórz, community Kołaczkowo, in the Greater Poland Voivodeship.
Description
The church was designed by architect Stefan Cybichowski from Posen. Construction began in September 1934 and was completed In May 1935 ( raw state ). In 1941 it was occupied by Germans and converted to an automotive repair shop. After the Second World War, the priest Unislaw Smaruj fixed the damage to the roof and the windows. He equipped the interior of the church.
The church has a capacity of about 1000 people. Until 1956 the church was Rector of Kołaczkowo. In the early 2010s it has installed windows with stained glass.
