Staatliche Münzen Baden-Württemberg

The National Mint of Baden -Württemberg is an operation of the State of Baden- Wuerttemberg and constitute the largest Münzprägebetrieb in Germany. Here 38% of the coins in circulation and 40% of collector coins are produced.

Under this name, operate the two mints Karlsruhe and Stuttgart, who have joined forces in 1998 to an establishment.

Despite the merger, the mints have received the different mint mark with the letter " G " (for the State Mint Karlsruhe) and "F " (for the State Mint Stuttgart).
