Public Enemy No. 1 is the third solo album of the Berlin rapper Bushido. It was published ersguterjunge on 4 November 2005 on Bushido's label and is the second solo album by rapper since his departure from Aggro Berlin and the first since splitting from his longtime producer DJ Ilan. Background
With his previous album Electro Ghetto Bushido was entered at number six in the German album charts. At the same time his lyrics were, as well as the other successful rappers Sido and Fler whether their alleged increased violence presentation was part of a public discourse, and sometimes heavily criticized accordingly. Bushido's previous releases King of Kingz and from the curb to the skyline had been just like the label sampler resulting with his participation his former employer Aggro Berlin Aggro announcement No. 2 and No. 3 Aggro announcement indexed by the Federal Department for Media Harmful to Young in 2005. Formation
The making of the album was strongly influenced by Bushido's trial in Linz. Since it was Bushido not allowed to leave Austria, the majority of public enemy No. 1 was written and recorded in the Beatlefield studios in Linz. Also, most of the represented with guest appearances on the album artists such as the singer Cassandra Steen had to travel to receive their contributions to Linz. A guest appearance on the Electro Ghetto still represented rapper Azad was therefore not about to pass. Production
A total of six producers were involved in the production of the album. Most of the beats was produced by producer duo Beatlefield. Marketing
Singles
Two songs from the album were released as singles. These are bosses, which appeared on 21 October 2005, and moment. On both tracks, videos were made. The video for boss made it to number 1 on the German TRL Most Wanted. On the Single to the final boss track public enemy No. 1, as well as two remixes of King Size & Sti can be found of the same tracks, bosses and the instrumental version of the song. The published on 23 December 2005 follow-up single moment, which was produced by Bozz Music producer Sti, includes three versions of the songs and two bonus tracks that of Saad ( I hold the position) and Chakuza ( Do not talk ) were contributed. Tours
