Stacey Dash

Stacey Dash ( born January 20, 1967 in New York City ) is an American actress.

Life and achievements

Dash graduated from Paramus High School in Paramus (New Jersey). She made her debut in a small supporting role in the TV movie The paw of the tigress from the year 1982. During the years 1988 to 1989, she starred in the TV series TV 101, the role of Monique. In the thriller Tennessee Nights (1989 ) she appeared alongside Julian Sands and Ned Beatty.

In the comedy Mr. Bill ( 1994) by Penny Marshall and starring Danny DeVito played the role of Private Miranda Myers. In the comedy Clueless - What else! (1995 ) she played the role of Dionne, a friend of Cher Horowitz, played by Alicia Silverstone. For this role she was nominated in 1996 for the Young Artist Award. In the action film Intimate Blue ( 1995) she played a starring role. From 1996 to 1999 she played Dionne Davenport in the based on the feature film TV series Clueless - The chaos clique.

After the dismissal of the series her career started to tail off. She took over mainly supporting roles in TV series such as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Eve. Also, appeared in a music video by Kanye West. In 2011 she played one season the second main role " Val " (next to LisaRaye McCoy ) in the VH1 sitcom " Single Ladies ". In August 2006, she retired from the U.S. edition of Playboy.

She has two children and was three times (most recently in 2010 with Emmanuel Xuereb ) married. After she announced on October 7, 2012 via Twitter their support for the Republican U.S. presidential candidate Mitt Romney, it was the target of hostility.
