The Stade Charles de Gaulle is a multi-purpose arena in Benin's second largest city, Porto -Novo, which offers 15,000 spectators. The used mostly for football matches stadium is the home ground of AS Dragons FC de l' Ouémé of Mogas 90 FC and the FC Aiglons. 2012 took place the Athletics Championships Africa at the Stade Charles de Gaulle. As part of the qualification for the FIFA World Cup 2014 Benin's national soccer team wore from their games against Algeria and Rwanda in Porto Novo.
