The Stade Louis -Michel is located in the French port town of Sète, Hérault in the Languedoc- Roussillon region. The stadium was opened in 1991 and bears the name of former club president Louis Michel ( 1952-1962 ). The club played since the twenties years at the Stade Georges Bayrou before moving to the new home. Originally, the sports venue only had a covered spectator rank of 1200 seats. Due to the rise of FC Sète in the Ligue 2 in 2005 was expanded capacity by steel tube stands at 4753 seats. Today 8705 people can find a seat in the stadium. After one season as the team went back and plans for the construction of bleachers behind the goals were put on hold.
