NK Varteks

The stadium Anđelko Herjavec is a football stadium in Varaždin, Croatia. It is the home ground of NK Varteks. It is right off the freeway Varaždin, Zagreb, Zagrebačka ulica, opposite the textile factory " Varteks ".

The stadium was named in memory of former club president Anđelko Herjavec after his death in a traffic accident. During his tenure, the NK Varteks achieved his greatest successes.

In the premises of the stadium itself there are the offices of the Board, a convention center, the trophy room, the fan shop and cafe club "Contra ", which is also frequented by players.

The stadium itself offers 10,800 spectators.

In 2005, the stadium was brought to the state of the demands of UEFA with extensive renovation measures.
