The Bijeli - Brijeg Stadium is a football stadium in the Bosnian-Herzegovinian city of Mostar. It can accommodate 25,000 spectators and serves the club HŠK Zrinjski Mostar as homestead. Bijeli Brijeg translated means White Hill in the German language.

History

The Bijeli - Brijeg Stadium in Mostar, was built in 1971. With a capacity of 25,000 spectators, it is after the stadium Asim Ferhatović bunny in Sarajevo is the second largest stadium in the country. In the 1970s and 1980s even found more than 35,000 spectators in the stadium area. Until the Bosnian War the stadium was the home of multiple Yugoslav champion FK Velez. After the war, the stadium, which is now in a " Croatian district " was awarded to the HSK Zrinjski Mostar.

Since 1992, the club HŠK Zrinjski Mostar plays its home games from this stadium after the club was re-founded in that year. Mostar was until today twice champion in Bosnia and Herzegovina (2004/ 05 and 2008/ 09). Moreover, in the season 2007/ 08 succeeded in winning the national goblet. The success of Zrinjski also ensured that in this stadium a few international top clubs guest appearances, such as Maccabi Petach Tikva, FK Partizan Belgrade vs SC Braga.
