Geographical location
Stadlern is located in the Upper Palatinate region -Nord.

History
Within the area are the ruins of the castle rich stone. In the 11-12. Century was the reclamation. 1363 has proven its own parish. Stadlern belonged to Rentamt Amberg and the district court Murach the Electorate of Bavaria. For centuries, people have come with their concerns to the miraculous image by Stadlern. Feast day is August 15, the Assumption of Mary into heaven. The Church of the Assumption is a Gothic building dates from the 14th century.
