Staffordshire Moorlands

Staffordshire Moorlands is a District in the county of Staffordshire in England. Administrative center is the city of Leek. Other important towns are Biddulph and Cheadle. Attractions are among others the theme park Alton Towers Biddulph Grange Garden and landscape.

The following extensive heath (English moorland ) named district was formed on 1 April 1974 and evolved from the merger of the urban districts Biddulph and Leek and Rural Districts Cheadle and Leek.
