Stala & SO.

Stala & SO. is a Finnish glam rock band that was founded in 1997 by the Finnish musician Sampsa Astala ( Stala ), a former member of the Finnish band Lordi.

In 2011, she competed with her song Pamela for the Euro Vision Song Contest in Dusseldorf. However, they lost the decider against the singer Paradise Oskar Da Da Dam with the song.

Currently the band is in the British music label Escape Music Ltd. under contract.

Style

The musical style of Stala & SO. is very 1980s and 1970s based on the glam rock bands. Stala himself called Slade, T. Rex, the Ziggy Stardust -era David Bowie and as stylistic models. The band is also known for their melodic rock music and charisma.
