History
The former Office of the Prussian principality of Bayreuth since 1792 was from 1500 in the Frankish Empire circle. It was with this in the Peace of Tilsit in 1807 to France and came to Bavaria in 1810. Stammbachstrasse had important magistrate's own rights.
Incorporations

Coat of arms
