Stampede Wrestling

Wrestling STAMPEDE, STAMPEDE short, is the name of a former Canadian wrestling promotion that was based in Calgary, Alberta. Promoters were Bill Bell and Devon Nicholson.

History

The history of the promotion began in 1930, when the promoter Larry Tillman in Calgary Stampede Wrestling aufstellte the banner.

In 1948, Stu Hart the sports club Foothills Athletic Club, which hosted in Edmonton, Alberta, under the banner of Klondike Wrestling Wrestling tournaments.

NWA- time

1951 merged both promoters and now presented the new banner STAMPEDE Wrestling on. In the same year STAMPEDE was an affiliate of the National Wrestling Alliance and acted as NWA Calgary / NWA of Alberta.

STAMPEDE as WWF territory development

STAMPEDE as Independent Promotion
