Standoff (TV series)
Standoff is an American television series that deals with the issue of crisis intervention. The series was frequently arrested for worse odds from the program and not renewed after the 18 episodes of the first season in the United States. In Germany Standoff ran since October 1, 2008, every Wednesday at 21.10 clock on VOX.
Action
The focus of this series, the two FBI agent Matt Flanery (Ron Livingston ) and Emily Lehman are ( Rosemarie DeWitt ), whose job it is to defuse dangerous situations such as hostage situations, bank robberies, etc. through negotiation with the offender. Because of the private relationship between the two investigators and the associated emotional insights, many of the cases can be resolved thanks to a newfound perspective (similar to Dr. House).
In their operations they are great support of superiors Cheryl Carrera ( Gina Torres) given, but their work ( Jose Pablo Cantillo ) is disturbed by the task force to Frank Rogers (Michael Cudlitz ) and his right hand Duff Gonzales. Because these keep very little of the quiet way to resolve dangerous situations, but can rather speak their ammunition for them. Also part of the team of FBI computer technician Lia Mathers ( Raquel Alessi ), which, however, keeps in its work in the background and acts from the center.
Instrumentation and synchronization
With the German dubbing the synchronous Company FFS Film & TV Synchron GmbH was commissioned in Munich. Dialogue directed by Peter Stein, who was also responsible along with Eva Schaaf and Katrin Fröhlich for the dialog book.
