Stanfour is a Founded in 2004, German pop-rock band.
History
Stanfour was originally founded on the North Sea island of Foehr Schleswig-Holstein as a studio project by brothers Alex and Konstantin Rethwisch, producer Eike Lüchow and guitarist Christian Lidsba. Alex and Konstantin Rethwisch spent before formation of the band for several years in Los Angeles, where she worked closely with a producer for film music and 've been successful as a songwriter.
In September 2007, Stanfour their debut single, Do It All, which reached number 46 in the German single charts. Their second single For All Lovers became one of the most played songs on German radio and stayed 18 weeks in the German single charts. In February 2008, Stanfour her debut album, Wild Life, which was largely produced in Stockholm and the band's own studio on Foehr, but also in Los Angeles. Other singles from this album were the songs Desperate and In Your Arms, which made it to number 14 in the German single charts. In Your Arms was later Ina Müller If you fly published in German under the title.
Stanfour was with John Fogerty (2007), the Backstreet Boys ( 2008) and the Norwegian band a- ha ( 2009) on tour and joined, among others, Bryan Adams ( 2008), Daughtry (2007) and the Scorpions (2008 and 2009) on. In summer 2010 Stanfour opened as a special guest of Pink in three open air concerts, the shows. The originating from the pen of songwriter duo Rethwisch / Rethwisch Stanfour Sorry pieces and Desperate were recorded and released by the American artists Daughtry and David Archuleta.
Stanfour was nominated in December 2008 for radio 1Live crown Award in the category " Best Newcomer". In December 2009, the second album Rise and Fall, which composed Stanfour in complete self- directed and produced appeared. Paul Kaiser on drums and the jazz Echo Award winner Heiko Fischer beat on the guitar to the band and the sound has become part of something electronic, lighter and danceable. The first single, Wishing You Well reached gold status and as well as the album's Top 10 of the German charts. The piece Tired Again is heard Zweiohrküken in a special film version on the soundtrack of Til Schweiger. In 2010, the album Rise and Fall reached gold for 100,000 copies sold, making it the most successful album of her career.
On 15 September 2010, the band was in the soap opera Good Times, to see bad times. Stanfour took on Federal Vision Song Contest 2010 for Schleswig- Holstein part entitled Sail on there and took the 7th place.
On 17 November 2011 was a founding member Eike Lüchow his departure from Stanfour known. In December 2011, Stanfour attended by Nile Rodgers and Seal at the Aida Night of the Proms tour with 19 concerts in twelve different cities in part. Accompanied by an orchestra and a large choir they played there Wishing You Well, Life Without You and For All Lovers. The third studio album by Stanfour called October Sky and appeared on May 11, 2012. Was the first single was released on 27 April 2012 Learning to Breathe whose video reached # 1 on the charts MyVideo. The song "Even if" was used as background music for the start of the U.S. series " Touch".
