Stanisław Mikulski

Stanisław Mikulski ( born May 1, 1929 in Łódź) is a Polish actor.

After graduation in 1949 he was invited by film director Leonard Buczkowski for the film Pierwszy start ( First Start ) in the role of a young glider pilots involved. During his military service Mikulski worked in soldiers amateur theater. After military service in January 1953 Mikulski was engaged in Juliusz Osterwa Theatre in Lublin.

After an external examination, he was professional actor. Among other things, he got the role of insurgents " Smukły " ( The Lean ) in Andrzej Wajda film The channel. In the years 1967-1968 he played the lead role in the TV movie series Stawka większą Niz życie (such as " bet more expensive than life "). He played the role of the Polish Stanisław Kolicki agent who takes the role of the German Lieutenant Hans Kloss in the ranks of the German defense during the Second World War. This role earned him a popularity that continues today. The film series was decided on East German television in 1969 under the title of seconds.

Mikulski joined afterwards in various theaters of Warsaw and also took part in several films.

In the 1970s, he was elected a member of the Central Committee of the Polish United Workers' Party ( PZPR ). 1988 to 1990 he was Director of the Polish Cultural Centre at the Polish Embassy in Moscow. 1995 to 1998, he hosted a quiz show on National TV.

In 2012 he played the role of " Hans Kloss " in a continuation of the television film that brought him the greatest success 44 years ago.
