Stanley Doust

Stanley Doust Norwood ( born March 29, 1879 in Sydney, † December 13, 1961 in London) was an Australian tennis player.

Life

From 1907 Doust took the Wimbledon Championships in part. In 1910 he won there on the side of Dorothea Douglass Chamber the ( unofficial ) Mixed Competition. In 1913 he reached the final of the All- Comers Contest, subject to there, however, the Americans Maurice McLoughlin. In the same year he won the Australian team to the Davis Cup.

After the First World War, he took part until well into the 1920s, a series of tournaments. He died in London in 1961.
