Stanley Fink, Baron Fink

Stanley Fink, Baron Fink ( born September 15, 1957 in Manchester ) is a British hedge fund manager. He is the former CEO and Deputy CEO of Man Group.

Youth and Education

Stanley Fink went to the Manchester Grammar School and studied at Trinity Hall ( Cambridge ).

Business Opportunities

Fink first worked at Citibank before he went to Man Group vo he rose to CEO.

It has described him as the godfather of the British hedge fund industry and under his leadership, the company grew to become a company in the FTSE 100 Index and the largest hedge fund in the world.

In the Sunday Times Rich List of 2008, he is in place 698 out with a personal fortune of £ 118 million

In September 2008 it was reported that Fink CEO of International Standard Asset Management ( Isam ) going into a partnership with Lord Levy.

Lord Fink is a director of a number of companies in the financial market, including Beetle Capital Partners, Earth Capital Partners, GenCore Ltd, Global Free Holdings Ltd. and Marex Group.

He is also a Director of Key -2 Luxury Ltd an Event Management Agency and CEO of Zenith Hygiene Group.

Political career

In January 2009 he was appointed Assistant Treasurer of the Conservative Party.

In 2011, he was raised as Baron Fink Life Peer.

Lord and Lady Fink were guests of David Cameron at Chequers.

Following the resignation of Peter Cruddas for involvement in the cash-for -access scandal, he was treasurer of the Conservative Party. Fink had donated in advance of the party £ 2.62 million hedge fund donors (PDF, 6.8 MB).

Other interests

In September 2009 he became head of the Hedge Fund sponsored by Absolute Return for Kids.

He is head of Burlington Danes Academy, Director of the Oxford Centre for Hebrew and Jewish Studies and President of the Evelina Children's Hospital.
