Stanley Motor Carriage Company

Stanley Steamer was the brand name for the products manufactured by the U.S. company Stanley Motor Carriage Company automobiles, all of which were steam cars.

Company Formation

In 1897, the first steam-powered automobile was manufactured by the two twin brothers Francis Edgar Stanley and Freelan O. Stanley.
