The dating from the Bronze Age 1500-1000 BC dated two rows of stones, composed of more than 20 upright again asked menhirs or Statuenmenhiren.

Your front page is directed to the east. The long-hidden under an old wall stones were uncovered by the excavations of Roger Grosjean 1964. The two of Grosjean after the nearby village as " Cauria II" (2.78 m high) and " Cauria IV" (2.91 m high) designated statues in the northern region of the stone series are among the largest in Corsica. They are the only Statuenmenhire with indicated arms and hands. As a military attribute recognize a " dagger sword ", which is supported in a hanger with shoulder strap. At the sword is a kind of loincloth follows, which forms on the back of menhirs a crooked line motif.

The engravings on the vertical back side will be interpreted as the spine or belts Schwertgehänges. Interestingly, the two recesses (with a diameter of 7 cm, with a depth of 3 cm ) on the sides of the head above the forehead. After Grosjean they served for the attachment of horns, so it is a kind of Bukranion. Red color marks on Cauria II and IV indicate, among other indications suggest that these and other menhir statues were painted with red ocher.
