Stari Žednik

Stari Zednik (Cyrillic Стари Жедник, Croatian, Zednik, Hungarian: Nagyfény ) is a small place in northern Serbia, in the province of Vojvodina, in the district Okrug Severna Bačka. It is located south of Subotica.

Population

Stari Zednik has 2,230 inhabitants ( 2002). The relative majority represent the Croats ( an entity belonging to the Bunjewatzen ethnic minority group ). Together with the residents who declare themselves only as Bunjewatzen, they soon form the main group.
