Stars is a love song. The singer sings in the song that they will follow their love everywhere. In the chorus it says that the stars will show you where the waters flow, where the gardens are blooming and that she would meet her love there.
The song was released by EMI Records as a single in 1999. It is by Wish I Could Fly and Anyone around the third single from her sixth studio album, Have a Nice Day. The music video for the single was shot and directed by Anton Corbijn.
