State Dining Room

The banquet hall (English State Dining Room ) is the larger of the two dining rooms in the White House. The room measures about 18 x 12 meters and holds 140 guests. The original dining room on the southwest corner of the White House was about half the size; only in the Renovation of 1902 it has been extended to an area that had been previously used as an office, library and cabinet room.
