State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission

SASAC is the abbreviation for State -owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (国务院 国有 资产 监督 管理 委员会; Pinyin: Guówùyuàn guóyǒuzīchǎn Jiandu guǎnlǐ wěiyuánhuì ) to German " Commission of the State Council for the control and management of state assets ." SASAC is the State Council of the PRC directly subordinate to the Special Commission. As a state regulatory authority, their main activity in the modernization and restructuring of large state-owned enterprises.
