Stearns-Knight

Stearns -Knight welcomed a number of luxury automobiles, which were first built by the FB Stearns Company in the years 1900 to 1925. After the takeover of the company by Willys -Overland, the vehicles were still produced until 1929 on.

Stearns built the first U.S. company from 1911 slide motors according to the system of Charles Yale Knight in his car one.

Frank Ballou Stearns sold his company in 1925 to John North Willys, who led more than non-integrated subsidiary of Willys -Overland.

The production of the Stearns -Knight cars ended on 20 December 1929.
