Stechlin

Stechlin is an official belonging to parish in the north of the district of Upper Havel in Brandenburg and is part of the Office Gransee and communities.

Geography

Stechlin is located near the northern border of the State of Brandenburg in the Natural Park Stechlin - Ruppin country. The landscape is part of the Rheinberger Lake District with the Great Stechlinsee, the lowest with 69.5 meters lake in Brandenburg.

History

The community Stechlin was formed on September 27, 1998 by the merger of the former municipalities Menz, Neuglobsow and Dollgow.
