Stefan Blank ( born March 10, 1977 in Gelsenkirchen ) is a former German football player and current football coach.

He played for MSV Duisburg, which he joined in July 2006 for two years, but due to a knee injury and shortly thereafter suffered severe thrombosis almost did not play. Earlier in his career were the first FC Kaiserslautern Alemannia Aachen and FC St. Pauli, Werder Bremen, VfB Stuttgart, Hannover 96, SG Wattenscheid 09 and FC Schalke 04

With Aachen Blank was in 2004 in the final of the DFB Cup in Berlin, but it lost to the then German champions Werder Bremen. In the quarter- finals of this competition Blank scored on 4 February 2004 in a 2-1 victory against FC Bayern Munich 1-0 of Aachen. This goal was voted " Goal of the Month in February 2004 ." The following season Blankenberge played with Aachen successfully in the UEFA Cup, before moving to the then first division club Kaiserslautern in January 2005.

In March 2009, Blank was youth coach of the SG Wattenscheid 09, the contact he put on his old friend and companion Christoph Jacob ago. For the 2009/10 season took over Blank as head coach the first team of the SGW, but resigned in December 2009. Wattenscheid at that time was before the crash in the Sechstklassigkeit. For the season 2010/11 Stefan Blank took over the post of director of sport NRW -division club SpVgg Erkenschwick.

Since Summer 2013 Stefan Blank is coach of the II team from Halle FC ( Oberliga ).
