Stefan Diez

Stefan Diez (born 1971 in Freising ) is a German industrial designer.

Life

After an architecture course and a carpenter Stefan Diez was a year in India. There, he designed and built furniture. After this year, he studied from 1996 to 2002 industrial design at the Stuttgart Academy of Fine Arts. In 1998, he was assistant to Richard Sapper, then worked until 2002 for the designer Konstantin Grcic in Munich. In 2003 he started his own business and opened his own design studio, where he developed, among others, furniture, tableware, bags and exhibition design in Munich.

Stefan Diez is married to jewelery designer Saskia Diez.
