Stefan Dittrich

Stefan Dittrich ( born June 28, 1912 in the courtyard; † 5 February 1988 Kötzting ) was a German politician of the CSU.

Life and career

After attending elementary school and high school in Regensburg Dittrich studied from 1932 to 1935 law at the Ludwig- Maximilians- University in Munich and Würzburg. In 1932 he became a member of the Catholic Student Association KDSt.V. Aenania Munich. Subsequently, he was until 1939 a law clerk in Kelheim, Regensburg, Hof and Munich, then to work on the second exam as a judge of the District Court and later the District Court. At times, he was also a soldier in World War II, most recently in the rank of major in the reserve. He was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. In 1947 he settled as a lawyer in Kötzting.

Party

In 1937 he entered as a court clerk of the NSDAP (member number 4277189 ). He was also SA and NSRB member. After the Second World War Dittrich was a CSU member and in 1952 the deputy county chairman in the district Kötzting.

Member of Parliament

Dittrich was a member of the German Bundestag from 1953 to 1972. He represented the electoral district of Deggendorf in Parliament. From January 30 1957 to 1969 he was Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Mandate and Immunity. Dittrich was dated 12 February 1963 to 1965 Chairman of the Working Group company politics, culture, politics and journalism of the CDU / CSU parliamentary group.

9 December 1965 to 14 February 1973, he was also a member of the European Parliament. There he directed 1966/67, the Committee on Health.

Honors

Stefan Dittrich in 1968 awarded the Grand Cross of Merit.
