Stefan Feld

Stefan Feld (born 1970 ) is a German game designer.

Field already enthusiastic in his childhood board games and pen & paper role-playing games and has already developed at the time first own games. A " motivation " brought him in 1998 to participate in a competition organized by the WDR and Friedhelm Merz Verlag, in which it came to the design of a game on " Radio" and reached the second place in the field. Then he began to regularly attend gaming conventions and meetings with authors. He was also the first time in contact with editors of game publishers, including alea and Queen Games.

With the card game revolt in Rome ( Queen Games ) 2005, the first game of the author has been published. In the same year the game for the International Gamers Award was nominated in the following year it was on the recommended list for game of the year. Since then, the field has developed several other games. In 2011, three of the ten in the German Game Prize-winning or nominated games from him.

Field lives in Gengenbach and teaches at the local high school sports and physics. He is married and has a son.
