Stefan Glowacz
Stefan Glowacz ( born March 22, 1965 in Tittmoning, Bavaria ), grew up in Oberau near Garmisch -Partenkirchen, is a professional mountaineer and extreme climber.
Life
Stefan Glowacz began at the age of 15 years with the climbing and managed within a short time the jump to the top. He won in 1987 for the first time the Rock Master in Arco Italian, and excited by media interest. Two more victories followed in 1988 and 1992.
In 1993 he finished after a runner-up title at the climbing world championship active and competitive career has been dedicated to the natural challenges in rock climbing in remote walls around the world. His companions include Kurt Albert and Holger Heuber. His undertakings, he financed through journalistic activities, lectures and films. He is also active as a speaker in the sports and business area.
He is co-founder of Red Chili, which is engaged in climbing shoes and clothing since 2014, and is actively involved in the marketing of the products.
Glowacz is in second marriage with Tanja Valérien - Glowacz, the daughter of Harry Valérien, married and the father of triplets.
